Sustainability in Every Aspect of Business
To achieve Gold status in the CGBN, we have done much more than simply install a few solar panels to help the environment. While many solar companies in Colorado have come and gone, we have always focused on long-term sustainability for both our customers and our business.
So what does long-term sustainability mean?
For our customers, it means lower electric bills from efficient solar panels offered at honest prices. As a local company that cares about our neighbors, we provide ongoing maintenance for all of our installations and easy-to-access customer service at any point in the 30+ year lifespan of our solar panel systems. The result… a 5.0 customer satisfaction rating.
In our business, sustainability means eliminating inefficiencies and always finding ways to lower our personal energy consumption and create a positive impact on our community. We hire employees and business partners from all walks of life, and always treat our coworkers with the dignity and respect they deserve. To retain the best employees, we pay prevailing wages, offer benefits, and always allow the members of our team to grow and advance within the company.
Of course, the environment also benefits the longer we stay in business and install solar panels throughout the Front Range of the Rockies. With over 5.5 MW of solar energy installed in Colorado and Wyoming, we are helping to offset over 150,000 tons of harmful carbon emissions with green electricity generation for hundreds of homes and businesses.
Apollo’s Corporate Sustainability Fellowship with CSU
To continue our path toward total environmental, business, and social responsibility, Apollo is a proud partner of Colorado State University’s Corporate Sustainability Fellowship. As an MBA program that also produced Apollo’s founder, our company has been thrilled to welcome intern Megan Bierwirth as a part of the team in her 2022 Summer Fellowship.
In addition to helping us achieve Gold status approval within the Colorado Green Business Network, Megan is also working to formalize our management infrastructure, training, and review processes to maximize the sustainability of Apollo’s business model.
